Classified Non-Permanent Employee (NPE) information
Unscheduled Classified NPE:
- As needed or variable schedule
- Positions exceeding 50% FTE for more than 6 months may become benefits eligible
- Pay rate is determined by number of years of directly related experience (Placement done by HR)
- Onboarding process similar to hourly onboarding (Supervisor's Guide - Student Hourly & Work-study Onboarding)
- Position end date may not exceed June 30th of current fiscal year (7/1-6/30)
Scheduled Classified NPE:
- Consistent set schedule
- Positions exceeding 50% FTE for more than 6 months may become benefits eligible
- Pay rate is determined by number of years of directly related experience (Placement done by HR)
