Recruitment Guide

General Recruitment Steps:

  1. Hiring Authority / Direct Supervisor submits a request (button to the right)
  2. Human Resources will send a form through Adobe Sign (electronic document signing)
    • You do not need an Adobe account to sign the form
    • The requester will receive an email notifying them that the form is ready to be completed and signed
    • Email notifications will automatically be sent in sequence to those who need to sign
    • A current position description is required to submit the form
    • All signing parties will have access to the finished document including the position description
  3. Approval Sequence
    1. Position Supervisor Completes
      1. Section 1 of the Personnel Requisition page
      2. Hiring Criteria pages
      3. Uploads a position description
    2. Department Executive Team member will review for approval
    3. College President reviews documents with Executive Team member for approval
    4. Budget reviews funding and confirms combo code to be used for payment of this position
    5. Executive Director of Human Resources will bring the documents to the following weekly Executive Team meeting
    6. Once the Executive Team approves, the Executive Director of Human Resources will complete the final sign-off
  4. Recruiter is assigned once documents are completed and will reach out within 48 hours to schedule a meeting to discuss recruitment plans and time lines
