Student / Work-Study Onboarding Request (New and Returning)

Temporary Employee Onboarding Process

  1. Supervisor/Requester -> Submit request form (button on right)
  2. Supervisor/Requester ->
    • Informs the employee to look for an activation email from NEOGOV to enable their Onboard account and begin paperwork
    • Supervisor will also receive a notification that their employee has started onboarding tasks
    • For additional positions or rehires, only a PA will be assigned.
  3. Employee -> Completes all forms in Onboard electronically
  4. Supervisor -> Completes appropriate section of Personal Action Form ("PA") or Work-Study Referral Form
  5. Employee -> Brings original documents to Human Resources  (Admin Bldg. 1000, Room 1010M) for I-9 Employment Verification at the times listed below
    • Tuesdays 10:00am - 11:00 am
    • Wednesdays 2:00pm - 3:00pm
  6. Employee -> Brings social security card to Human Resources Office OR uploads into Onboard (regardless of what documents are used for the I-9, a social security card is REQUIRED)
  7. Human Resources ->Once all forms are completed and employee has been entered into ctcLink, the employee and supervisor will receive a notification indicating an official authorization to begin work. Please notes that the employee may not be able to enter their hours in ctcLink immediately but to be sure to enter all hours before the end of the pay period.
