Canvas courses remain on your account indefinitely unless they are manually deleted. The state mandates the dates when we can delete student records. Courses with student work (student records) need to be kept for 7 years. If you have manually created courses, then you can delete those on your own without our help.
To request old Canvas courses to be removed from your account, click on the Request Service button on the right-hand side of the screen and fill out the form. These courses need to be older than 7 years.
