How to Add and Delete Article Shortcuts for Knowledge Admins

Add an Article Shortcut to Another Category

  1. Login to TDX.
  2. Click Knowledge Base in the green bar.
  3. Click into the category you want to publish the shortcut in; Shoreline Student or Shoreline Employee.category
  4. Continuing clicking into the next category until you find the other category.
  5. Click the green button on the right side of your screen that says New Shortcut.
  6. In Target, type the name of the article and the click to select it.
  7. Your should already be in the Parent Category, which is the new category that you want to add the article to.
  8. Click Save.
  9. You will now see an anchor next to the article, which reflects that it is a shortcut, and listed in more than one location. Only TDX agents see this.

Delete a Shortcut

  1. Locate the original article.
  2. Click the Edit Article button.
  3. Click the Shortcuts tab.
  4. Click into the Shortcut ID.
  5. Click the Delete Shortcut button.
