Laptop Checkout
Shoreline Community College has a limited number of laptops available for checkout. These laptops have a built in webcam and microphone and are designed to support students who do not have their own laptop. They are for class use only; personal and/or commercial use is strictly prohibited. Laptops are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be returned, or approved for renewal, every quarter.
In most cases a Chromebook will be issued. Windows laptops are limited to Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM), Nursing (NURS) classes, and students involved in Workforce Programs (BFET, Opportunity Grant, WorkFirst, and Work Retraining). To checkout, renew or return a laptop, please click on the Request Equipment button on the right hand side of the screen and fill out the form.
Webcam Checkout
There are a limited number of webcams available for students who have their own computer that does not have a built in webcam.
Renewal Requests
Equipment loans must be renewed each quarter. Please submit a request after you have registered for classes for the next quarter. To checkout, renew or return a laptop, please click on the Request Equipment button on the right hand side of the screen and fill out the form.
Returning Equipment
If you are returning equipment, you do not need to fill out the form. You can bring the equipment to the Library Circulation Desk which is located on the main level of the 4000 building. View library hours
