Shoreline Community College, through Microsoft Office 365, is providing Microsoft Office for Windows and Mac to students, faculty, and staff free of charge.
This is an on line / web based version of Microsoft office and you do not need to install any software.
In a browser type Portal.office.com and use your college email address and password to access.
Benefits of this include:
- As a current Student /Staff or faculty, using your school email user account and password to sign in gives access for compatible PCs or Macs
- Microsoft Office Online which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive & several others
- Microsoft Office Mobile apps enablement including iPad, iPhone, and Android
- Create, save, edit, & store documents in the cloud with OneDrive for Business
If you choose to install Microsoft Office on your device, please make sure to UNINSTALL any previous free or purchase version, prior to attempting to install this version. They are not compatible.
