Main and Quiet Dining Rooms (PUB), as well as the Theater, are fully booked through the end of 2024. 


2025 Availability 
The PUB has limited availability in February, March, and May. It is fully booked in April and June.
The Theater has limited availability January - March. April and June are fully booked. All open availability is subject to Theater Director approval.

This online application form is to be submitted by applicants applying to rent facilities at Shoreline Community College, located at 16101 Greenwood Avenue North, Shoreline, Washington, for the purpose of non-curricular activities, including seminars, workshops, conferences, sporting events, testing, performances, film screenings and production work, and/or other special events. All events must conform to the Shoreline Community College mission and general policy. INSTRUCTIONS:

Please complete all fields with the requested information. Incomplete forms cannot be processed. This online application must be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks prior to requested rental date, but to ensure space availability, more time may be necessary. The Shoreline Community College rental office will contact you with a written confirmation for your event and a price quote. A Facility Usage Contract will be sent to you for signature. Please note, rental events are not considered confirmed until all signatures have been obtained from College representatives and the client, and deposit(s) are received.

Event Information

Please enter a detailed description of activity, seminar, conference or event (Be specific and complete). If applicable, please include any commercial or political activity and names of participating artists, performers, lecturers or instructors. If more than one performer will be utilizing the College facilities, please note all performers/performances with separate dates.
NOTE: Campus hours are 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., although some exceptions can be made for early morning set up schedules. All events must end by 11:00 p.m. with amplified music turned off and guests asked to vacate the premises.

The College does not have catering services for food or beverages on campus, and there is no access to kitchen facilities. Access to a prep area and water is available.

Note: 

Campus security is REQUIRED for all events serving alcohol on campus regardless of attendance size and additional approval paperwork and Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board. Cannabis is not allowed on campus under any circumstance.

Shoreline Community College may require you to hire a college security and/or King County police officer for your event. Associated costs will be billed to the event organizer.

Events held on the property of Shoreline Community College Campus may require additional insurance. Provide the College with a copy of public liability insurance policy which should cover bodily injury and property damage with limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.

 

Media/Technical Information

Indicate any of the following items that may apply to your Shoreline Community College facilities rental use.

Please note that Shoreline Community College will require you to hire Shoreline Community College event monitors, and media/ theater/ audio technicians to operate the College AV equipment in classrooms, dining facilities and theater performance spaces. Associated costs will be billed to the event organizer.

Main and Quiet Dining Room Floor Layout, if you are unsure about what your event requires this can be discussed with Susy via phone or email, or in person through a tour. Final floor layout must be submitted 2 weeks prior to your event. 
Will you need programmed lighting or specialized lighting support? General white lighting wash included with theater rentals. Light programming will be charged at $40 per hour. 
SCC Media and Event supervisors are required for all events. Dependent on AV needs, more than one Media Tech may be required. To see more information about their role and rates please click here.


Note that this is a reservation request, the Facility Rentals team will reach out to you via email within 5 business days to confirm that your requested dates are available and to go over any details necessary. Theater/Black Box rentals will be confirmed by the Theater Director and may require additional turnaround time to confirm availability as our theater is in use much of the year by our students and campus events.
