OneDrive Restore Instructions

First Step is to make sure the OneDrive Application is uninstalled from all machines, including Mobile, before proceeding with the following instructions.

If your OneDrive files were deleted, overwritten or corrupted, you can restore your entire OneDrive to a previous time. Files Restore helps Microsoft 365 subscribers undo all the actions that occurred on both files and folders within the last 30 days.

Windows

Please start by checking your Laptop or Computer under Settings, Apps & features for the Microsoft OneDrive Sync App and uninstall it.  Then follow the steps below.

Apple

Drag the OneDrive Application to the trash.

OneDrive Sign-in

Login to this link using your Shoreline C.C. E-mail https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/signin/

Enter your password.

Verify the password via text/call code or using the Microsoft Authenticator App on your mobile phone.

Restoring

In OneDrive click on the gear Settings, Restore your OneDrive.

On the Restore page under select a date, TSS suggests Three (minimally two, three recommended) weeks ago from the dropdown list. Select the files and folders and choose Restore. Do not move the slider.

The Restore process takes about 5 minutes.​​​​​​​

Once complete please clean your recycle bin

Click on the Recycle bin icon on the left column

Above the Recycle Bin title will be a empty recycle bin button.  Click it and wait for it to complete.
