Entering Time for Suspended Operations - Classified

Overview

Use this document as a reference on how to enter time in ctcLink for suspended operations. 

Important Information

  • Staff with pre-approved leave must report the leave approved to be taken regardless of campus closure.
  • Employees required to work during suspended operations will receive one and one-half (1 ½) times their regular pay for work performed.
  • Employees required to work during their regular work shift during suspended operations will receive a minimum of two (2) hours of pay for each day worked.
  • Employees required to work due to an unanticipated emergency outside of their regular work shift will receive a minimum of three (3) hours of penalty pay at their regular rate plus time the actual time that is worked in accordance with Article 7 (Hours of Work) and Article 8 (Overtime).
  • The following options are available for employees not required to work during suspended operations:
    • Vacation Leave, Personal Holiday or Personal Leave Day, Accrued Compensatory Time (where applicable)
    • Sick Leave, up to a maximum of three (3) days in any calendar year, once all vacation, personal holiday, personal leave, and comp time have been exhausted
    • Leave without Pay
    • Employee requested schedule changes for adjustment of hours worked within the same work week
