How to get help with a Ricoh Copier

Before attempting to submit a request to TSS, please take advantage of the Ricoh service contact that provides quick, helpful support. 

  • First determine if the issue is:
    • a service problem (aka something is broken)
    • A supplies issue (aka a consumable has run out like toner or stables)
    • or something else altogether. 
  • On the front of every Ricoh machine is a label with a 1-800 telephone number and a bar code.
    • Call the number and provide the Device ID (aka number right above the bar code)
    • Explain the issue or problem and follow any troubleshooting steps the agent recommends.
  • There will be situations where the agent will need to send a Ricoh tech out to perform a repair or fix. 
    • Provide the agent with your work contact information and they'll send you updates and notifications for when the repair technician is on their way. 
    • If you are a part-time or student employee, be sure to provide contact information for a staff member who can ask as a Point of Contact for the tech (if you aren't working when they arrive).  
  • There is no charge for this support service or for any of the items ordered, they are all covered under the Ricoh Service Contract.
