Body
Although it is counter-intuitive, in order to view/print an existing course you must launch a “New Proposal” to pull the course information into a form, after which you will be able to either print it or save it as a PDF. (We hope to develop an easier way to access the information in the future.)
- Sign in to Modern Campus (MC) Curriculum.
- If you are not currently on the Proposals page, click on Proposals on the top bar.
- Click on the + New Proposal button on the right.
- Find the form 1. View CURRENT Course Version - Faculty
- Click on the Start Proposal icon (the check mark) on the far right.
- You will be prompted to search the existing Curriculum Inventory for the course to update.
- You can search by Prefix (e.g. HIST or HIST&) and/or Code (Number) and/or Name (Course Title). If you enter information into only one field the search will find all matches for that field.
- The source used by this form is the "2025-2026 In Process" catalog draft. This source contains the most current information. To view information from previous years use the View PAST Course Version - Faculty form.
- Enter your search criteria then click the Search button. A list of matching courses will display.
- Click on the Preview and Build icon on the far right of the course you want to view/print.
- A preview of the data to be imported to the form will appear. It is common for some fields to display “[no data]”.
- Some fields may display red error text stating "No matches were found" with information about data that could not be imported. This is a known bug in the current version of MC Curriculum and can be ignored.
- Once you have verified that the correct course is selected click the Build Proposal button at the bottom of the page.
- The View CURRENT Course Version - Faculty form, populated with the course data, will display and be ready to print or save as a PDF.
- At the top right of the left pane is a small printer icon. Clicking this icon will open a Print Options window.
- Click on the Print Options button on the upper right of the window, then click on the Print Proposal button.
- The print options will appear and you can select your destination. “Print to PDF” will save it to a PDF file. If your computer has a network or connected printer you can send it to the printer for a physical copy.
- When complete, click on Proposals to return to the Proposals page, then click on the My Proposals tab. You will see this course as an unlaunched proposal on that page.
- Click on the trashcan icon to delete the proposal. It is best practice to pull a new copy of the course if needed again, as the course may have been updated.
Note: Viewing and printing previous versions of courses follow the same steps outlined above with two exceptions:
- The form used is 1a. View PAST Course Version - Faculty
- At step 6.b. choose the source catalog for the year you wish to review.
