Why is my Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) or Third Party Tool Not Working

If you are having issues with your Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) or Third Party Tool in Canvas it most likely was not set up, or set up correctly.  When you copy a course over from a previous quarter, you need to re-establish the connection.  The connection does not come over from the previous quarter, they do need to be created each and every quarter.  It is your responsibility to re-establish the connection to your new course.  This includes most publisher content, Labster, Zoom meetings, Stukent, Publisher Content, etc.  Each LTI is different, so you will need to reach out to your representative of the LTI in question and have them walk you through the process.  You also need to let your representative that we do NOT do deep integrations without faculty completing the research on the accessibility of those LTI/Third Party Tools.  This is something that the instructor of the course needs to complete and usually cannot be completed by eLearning.  Most LTIs have personalized emails and passwords to which eLearning does not have access.  If you need help with the process, please reach out to eLearning to see when they can meet with you and the representative over Zoom so that they can share their screens to complete the process.
