How to install Lushootseed font on Shoreline computers

Important note: The file name is SL_Lushootseed_Style.ttf. When you go to use the font in applications after installation, the font name is "sl leSucid style".

Windows 11

Method 1

1. Download the font file SL_Lushootseed_Style.ttf attached to this article.

2. Click to open the file.

3. Click the Install button.

Method 2

  1. Download the font file SL_Lushootseed_Style.ttf attached to this article.
  2. Open the folder where you downloaded the file by clicking the File Folder icon.
  3. Right-click on the Windows start button and choose settings.
  4. Choose "Personalization".
  5. On the left side, choose "Fonts"
  6. Drag and drop the font file into the "Add fonts" area. Answer yes to any prompts asking whether you'd like to install the font.

MacOS

Method 1

  1. Download the font file SL_Lushootseed_Style.ttf attached to this article.
  2. Double-click the font file in Finder. This will open the Font Book app.
  3. Click Install Font in the dialog box that appears.

Method 2

  1. Open Font Book.
  2. Go to File, Add Fonts.
  3. Navigate to the location you downloaded the file SL_Lushootseed_Style.ttf to and choose Open.
