Students can access evaluations on any device that can access the internet such as a computer, laptop or smartphone. Evaluations can be accessed through the email notification sent to their preferred email as listed in ctcLink and through their Canvas course, if applicable.
Student Access via Email
- A few days prior to evaluations, students receive an email notification to inform them of upcoming student feedback forms (SFF).
- On the first day of SFF period, students receive an email with a Survey Summary with a list of classes that are to be evaluated.
- Students click the Go to Survey link to be taken directly into the evaluation. No login is required.
Student Access via Canvas
- In Canvas, SFF are only visible to students. Instructors will not see the student link for evaluations in the Canvas course, even when in Student View.
- When students are logged into their Canvas class during the SFF period, a popup will appear instructing them to complete the SFF. Students click the Go to Student Feedback Form button to be taken directly into the form.
CES Email Notifications
- Instructors receive an email notification 10 days prior to the launch of the SFF.
- Instructors and students receive another email notification the day the SFF are launched.
- Students receive email reminders to complete SFF if they have not been completed every three days during the SFF period, and can opt out if the choose.
- Students receive a Certificate of Completion in their email after the SFF is completed.
- CES Administrators receive an email the day after the survey ends notifying them the SFF results are available.
- Instructors receive an email the day after final grades are submitted notifying them the SFF results are available.

If a student is having any issues with CES they can submit a request for assistance.
