How do I set up my Starfish profile?

Important

Due to the college ransomware incident, Starfish is not currently receiving updated data from college systems. Because of this, any changes to your class enrollments after September 12, 2023 do not currently show in the system, and students who were not enrolled in classes by this date cannot access the system.

Instructions

  1. Log into Starfish.
  2. Click on the hamburger menu in the top left corner
  3. Click on the down arrow next to your name and click Edit Profile. This will take you to the edit profile page.
  4. In the Alternate Email box in the Contact Information section, enter the email address where you want to receive Starfish updates and notifications, including appointment reminders and notes from your advisor. Then, check the box next to Send notifications to my alternate email address.
  5. Enter your phone number and/or cell phone number where you prefer to be contacted by advisors or other Shoreline employees.
  6. Verify that your time zone setting is correct.
  7. Click the Save Changes button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  8. Next, select the Notifications tab.
  9. If you want to receive notification emails at your alternate email address, ensure that you see a check mark on the slider button.
  10. If you want to receive appointment reminders via email, check the boxes in the Appointments section and choose your preferred time settings.
  11. Click the Save Changes button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
