Outage
Go to the Canvas status page, http://
https://status.instructure.com/
to check for downtime notice.
Contact Canvas representative of outage, email address is
sbctc@instructure.com
to find out if they have information about the issue.
Notify eLearning staff about the issue and if possible, post announcements in eLearning Faculty and Getting Started (student site) in Canvas. This obviously won't work if Canvas is completely down.
Notify TSS, Mary Schaeffer at Admin desk, and, post out an announcement to faculty listserv.
Notify Comm/Marketing and request a header on college homepage about the ongoing issue.
As soon as issue is resolved, notify all groups with resolved information and include login information.
