Installing Ricoh Copier/Printer Drivers

This article is for Employees who are connected via Ethernet (aka hardwired) into the network on campus. If your office computer is only connected to WiFi, you will not need to follow these instructions and won't be able to print via network. WiFi employees are able to print via email though, and you can find those instructions here: How to Print

 

1: To start installing the print drivers for the new Ricoh Printers start by searching Printer in your Windows Search bar and selecting Printers & Scanners. 

 

2: Select Add Device where it says, “Add a printer or scanner”. 


After about 3-5 seconds, it will give you an option for “The printer that I want isn’t listed”. 


Select “Add Manually” 

 

3: Select “Select a shared printer by name” and type:
\\ptr-streamline.shore.ctc.edu\R

 

And it should recommend the completed string: 

\\ptr-streamline.shore.ctc.edu\Ricoh_Copier_Workstations 

 

Finally select “Next” 

 

4: This is a confirmation page that lets you know the Ricoh Workstation has been successfully added as an available printer.

 

This page also tells you the Driver number; in case you have issues in the future, you can share this with TSS.  

 

Select “Next” 

 

5: This is the last step for confirming the printer has been added.

 

The only action here is to Select “Finish” and now you can start printing!
