Assign an Employee Work Schedule

Overview

 Use this reference document to assign employee work schedules in ctcLink.

Instructions

  1. Log into ctcLink.
  2. Select the HCM-Self Service Tile.
  3. Select Manager Self Service.

  1. Select the CTC Team Time tile.

  1. Select the Assign Work Schedule heading on the sidebar. 
  2. The Assign Work Schedule search page displays.
  3. Enter a ctcLink ID/Empl ID (or search by Last Name)
  4. Select the Search button.

  1. The Search Results will display if there are multiple Empl Records (Jobs).
  2. Select the applicable Empl Record.
  3. The Assign Work Schedule page displays.
  4. Select the (+) on the right-hand side of the screen.
  5. Change the Effective Date to the date that the schedule will become active for that employee.  NOTE:  The Effective Date should be the FIRST WORK DAY of the week.
    • Always change the schedule on Sunday, other days may result in your employee being paid overtime.
  6. Change the Assignment Method to Select Predefined Schedule.
  7. Schedule Group should be WACTC.
  8. Schedule ID will vary based upon the needs of the employee.
    • Select the magnifying glass to get a list of valid Schedule IDs for input.
    • If the desired Schedule ID does not exist, contact HR.
  9. Select the Save button.

Assign Work Schedule. There are red boxes around the effective date, the assignment method, the schedule group, schedule ID, and plus buttons.
