Following these steps should help you restore archived content on Panopto:
Log in to
www.Panopto.comLinks to an external site.
.
Navigate to Shoreline.
Click on Canvas.
Ensure that you are in your "My Folder" section, which displays all your videos. Note that the "Home" tab shows your recently viewed videos.
Look towards the top of the page, right under the large "My Folder" bar. You will see several icons: "All Dates," a clock, an eyeball with a number (indicating your total video count), and a box with a lid and a number (indicating the numbers of your archived videos).
Click on the box with the lid icon. This is the archived folder button. It will list all the videos that are archived; they will appear slightly greyed out.
Find the specific video you want to restore from the archived list.
Hover over that video, and a small box with an arrow will appear. Click on this arrow.
A new pop-up window will appear, asking if you want to restore the selected item. Click "OK" to confirm.
The video restoration process may take up to 48 hours. During this time, the video will appear as it does in step 4 (greyed out) until it is fully restored.
You will receive an email notification once the video has been successfully restored.
Once restored, the video will no longer appear in the archived section and will be accessible as usual in your "My Folder."
